for Uglycon NYC this December but
we did decide to make the hand mades
available through a raffle. Tickets will
be given out at a certain point
and the numbers will be called
after a certain cut off hour
which we'll have figured out soon.
If your number is called, you can
either pass or purchase one of
the hand made plush dolls.
I hope that sounds reasonable, as
NYC is a wonderful city but can
get very cold and hazardous
at night like any other place
in December.

Just because people will ask: do you have to be at GRNY in person to receive a ticket?
David I really liked the raffle from the Deharavath show. Yes I know I won the chance to purchase a handmade Poe but guess what... had the person ahead of me not given up their chance I may not have gotten one. =o)
Indeed, to get a ticket, one would have to be there in person. Sorry about that part.
No apologies necessary to me. I think it needs to be that way. But if I was thinking about it, I figured someone else would be hoping about it.
This sounds like a fair and civil way to do it. I can't make it to Uglycon NY, but I hope to go to Uglycon LA. So I hope you'll consider the same method for LA. Just the thought of Uglycon makes me smile. I'm already trying to decide which Ugly will come with me. Deer Ugly says me me me
Sounds fair to me. Another question: will the Uglycon NY events begin in the am or pm? I unfortunately cannot fly in until Sat. :)
i like your idea..that means no real need to stand in line that early..i hope it turns out ok and you use it again in uglycon la
